Emirates Stadium: Stats show Arsenal have best home advantage in Premier League

Despite a Matchday one loss and a rough month of November, the Gunners appear no worse for wear and are very comfortable from second place in the Premier League. Arsenal‘s strong position in the league is due in large part to the incredible home advantage Emirates Stadium has been providing for them this season.

As of December 5, Arsenal have only one home loss in the Premier League and just two total losses since the start of their 2015-16 campaign. The lone BPL loss came against West Ham United, while the other one came against Olympiacos in the Champions League.

Leicester City (currently at first place in the Premier League) can boast a similar homefield advantage, with their lone loss of the season coming – ironically enough – at King Power Stadium against Arsenal back in late September. It will be interesting to see if the Foxes return the favor when the two sides face off in Emirates Stadium.

Even though Arsenal were eliminated from the League Cup tournament by Sheffield Wednesday, that loss came at Hillsborough Stadium.

Emirates Stadium has the second-highest stadium capacity in the Premier League, boasting a maximum attendance of over 60,000 rabid Gooners.
