Speaking to AS, Lucas Vazquez has insisted that Real Madrid are considering both Atletico Madrid and Barcelona in the battle for the Spanish title.

A month ago, the Liga BBVA race appeared to be over, with Barca having established a considerable lead at the top of the table.

However, as well as being bundled out of the Champions League, the Catalan giants have taken just one point from their last three matches in the Spanish top flight.

As such, their lead at the top of the table has been steadily whittled away, and after Los Blancos’ resounding 5-1 win at Getafe, Real sit only one point behind Barca, having played a game more.

Barca face a tricky fixture against troubled Valencia on Sunday, and the pressure will be on Luis Enrique’s side to put their UCL misery behind them and take the three points.

However, Vazquez has insisted that Real aren’t considering Barca as their only opponents in the title race, and are also considering third-placed Atletico Madrid, who are two points behind Real ahead of their game in hand against Granada on Sunday.
