Ross County goalkeeper Scott Fox has been ruled out of next weekend’s Scottish League Cup final against Hibernian after suffering medial ligament damage.

The former Celtic and Partick Thistle player is facing around eight weeks on the sidelines.

He picked up the knee injury in Saturday’s 3-0 defeat by Dundee United in the Scottish Premiership.

Gary Woods took his place for Tuesday’s 2-0 win over Kilmarnock.
